Behind the counter

What the shop keeps in the back room, and what it never sells.

What is kept

Your email and first name, your birth date, your conversations, the lines each keeper writes about you and any card you buy. A payment card is never requested.

Why it is kept

The talk has to work, the keepers have to recall you, the street has to stay safe and the till has to confirm payments. Messages are screened against the shop rules; nothing you write is sold or passed to advertisers.

What you can do

Look at or amend what a keeper has noted, clear a chat, export it, or ask at the shop address for the account to be erased.

Cookies

A session cookie carries you from door to door, and a few display preferences live in your browser. The street does not follow you home, and no advertising code runs here.
